Lotus is the most beautiful flower blooming from the deepest and thickest soil. In several cultures and religions in the world, lotus is a symbol of beauty and spirituality.

-Buddhism
In Buddhism, lotus is considered to be associated with purity, spiritual awakening, and loyalty.
Buddhism believes that the lotus grows out of the silt, is not contaminated by the silt, and is very fragrant. It means that the Buddha and Bodhisattva were born in the trouble of life and death. It is said that Prince Siddhartha, who later became the Buddha, immediately went down to the ground and took seven steps, each step becomes a lotus. So Lotus became a symbol of his birth.
Although the root of the flower is planted in the soil, it grows upward in the direction of light, which represents the journey from darkness (represented by the muddy pond) to the light of knowledge or wisdom.
In Buddhism, the lotus flower also represents a causal cycle, and every action or thought of a person will cause an effect or reaction, which can be reflected in this life or future life.
The lotus flower is the largest and most prosperous among the flowers, representing the solemn and wonderful method. The lotus flower is soft and pure, but sitting on it will not damage it, and it can show its divine power. Therefore, the Buddhas often sit on the rosette.

Coincidentally, China has loved lotus since ancient times. As the Taoism of the Chinese native religion, lotus is naturally one of the symbols of Taoism. Lotus symbolizes practitioners in Taoism.

-Hinduism
Lotus in Hinduism represents the energy center of the human body, known as the chakra, and is related to beauty, prosperity, knowledge, fertility, and most importantly, eternity and spirituality.
Many gods and goddesses of Hinduism are related to flowers. For example, Laxmi, the goddess of prosperity, is usually depicted as sitting on a fully open lotus flower.
After talking with Buddhists for thousands of years, Hindu leaders began to use lotus to symbolize peace and eternity. The white lotus is usually seen at the feet of gods such as Lakshmi, Ganesha and Saraswati, so lotus is regarded as a sacred symbol of dignity in India.

-Egyptian culture
In Egyptian culture, the name of the lotus is Seshen. It represents the sun and rebirth. Scholars believe that the Egyptians regarded the lotus as a symbol of rebirth because the lotus seemed to sink at night and rise again in the morning.
In ancient Egypt, it was believed that the sun rose from the lotus in the east at dawn, and it fell into the lotus in the west at sunset. The Egyptians also linked the lotus to death. The Book of the Dead of Egypt mentions that the dead can be turned into lotus flowers with the help of magical spells that symbolize resurrection and rebirth to achieve eternal life.

Wearing a lotus jewelry is a way of expressing faith in Hinduism or Buddhism. It also reminds people to stay humble at all times and focus on developing inner peace.
