Magatama

Magatama is a kind of jewelry in Japan and one of the three most important magic weapons of Japan. There are head and tail, the head is wide and round and the tail is sharp and thin. Common materials are mostly emerald, agate, crystal, talc and other stones.

Magatama's story 

Magatama have been found in Japan in a variety of prehistoric sites of the Jomon period, Yayoi time and the Kofun period and almost 3000 years. Magatama has always been used as a "talisman" to protect the wearer from disasters and evil spirits. In addition, the Japanese tombs began to serve as a symbol of power, often as a funeral for nobles with status. 

Origin of Magatama's form 

There are two general sayings: 
- Animal teeth say: Wearing animal teeth can drive off evil, resulting in a jade shaped like fangs 

- The form of the fetus says: It looks like the fetus has curled up during the pregnancy of the mother, so that the child can escape death and grow up healthy
